Space is limited; advanced registration is recommended. Late registration for most classes is accepted if space permits; fees will be pro-rated.
Fees for most classes must be paid by the first class for the entire session (or by the second class, if the first is a trial – see below). Drop-in fees are available for a few classes, as noted, and for out-of-town visitors ($15/one-hour class and $18/1.5-hour class). In special cases, payment arrangements may be made, and work-exchanges are sometimes possible. A return check fee of $15 will be charged for checks returned for insufficient funds.
Missed Classes and Refunds
Classes you miss for any reason may be made up by attending any other class of an appropriate level, but only during the session in which they are missed. Make-ups may not be carried over to another session. In cases of serious illness, injury, or emergency, credit may be extended toward a future class, but only for classes missed after the office is notified. Refunds can only be given to students who withdraw before the second meeting of a class; all refunds will incur a $10 per class cancellation fee.
Ninth Street Dance reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is not sufficient. Students may choose another class or a full refund.
In case of inclement weather, we will post a message regarding class cancellations on this site, on our Facebook page, and on the studio voicemail, (919) 286-6011. We will attempt to schedule make-up classes when possible; if a make-up class is not possible, you may attend any other class we offer during the same session or the session immediately following. We are not able to give refunds or credit for classes missed due to weather.
New students may try one class per session on a complimentary basis (does not apply to workshops or classes where drop-ins are accepted). If you decide to enroll, this class will be counted as your first class; payment will be due by the beginning of your second class. We do not allow trials once a class is full.
