Policies

Registration

Space is limited; advanced registration is recommended. Late registration for most classes is accepted if space permits; fees will be pro-rated.

Covid Policies

Masks are optional. Vaccines are encouraged but not required. We limit classes to 18 registered persons, use air purifiers in each room, and have hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes available.

Fees

We strongly encourage you to register for the entire session of the class(es) of your choice. Drop-ins will be accepted the first week of a session and for the remaining weeks only if the minimum enrollment for the class is met by week #2. Some of our more popular classes will not offer drop-ins until the second week, to prioritize series registration over single class registration.

A returned check fee of $15 will be charged for checks returned for insufficient funds.

Missed Classes and Refunds

Classes you miss for any reason may be made up by attending any other class of an appropriate level, but only during the session in which they are missed. Make-ups may be done in advance if you tell us the date that you will be missing. However, make-up may not be carried over to another session. In cases of serious illness, injury, or emergency, credit may be extended toward a future class, but only for classes missed after the office is notified. Refunds can only be given to students who withdraw before the second meeting of a class; all refunds will incur a $10 per class cancellation fee.

Cancellations

Ninth Street Dance reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is not sufficient. Students may choose another class or a refund or store credit.

Inclement Weather

In case of inclement weather, we will post a message regarding class cancellations on this site, on our Facebook page, and on the studio voicemail, (919) 286-6011. We will attempt to schedule make-up classes when possible; if a make-up class is not possible, you may attend any other class we offer during the same session or the session immediately following. We are not able to give refunds or credit for classes missed due to weather.
