Ballroom
Discover the pleasure of partner dancing in a relaxed atmosphere with fun as the focus. You'll learn lead and follow techniques as you practice the basics of popular social dances such as waltz, foxtrot and cha-cha. Partner not required; Session 2 is a repeat of Session 1. East Coast Swing/Lindy Hop
Come learn this fun, energetic partner dance and join the swing scene! In the beginning class (Level 1), you’ll learn basic moves and footwork as well as lead and follow techniques. Latin Ballroom
This class will focus on the American ballroom versions of two Latin partner dances: the slow, sensual bolero (combining flirty, Cuban-style movement with the graceful waltz) and the passionate, flamboyant American tango (a more standardized dance than Argentine tango.) Salsa/Latin
Learn the hottest Latin dances! Salsa, merengue, and bachata will be taught in the beginning class, which includes a wide variety of both basic steps and exciting new turn patterns making it suitable for true beginners as well as those with some experience. Shag
Learn the official state dance of both Carolinas and a favorite dance at the beach. The Level 1 class introduces beginning students to the basics of shag, as well as a number of variations and turns. Level 2 is for those who have some shag experience. Partner not required. FALL 2010

Social Dance Sampler
This class will introduce you to the most popular partner dances: foxtrot, waltz, swing and salsa, and will give you the skills to feel comfortable at a wedding or have fun at a local swing or salsa dance.
